What does the rewrite change, and what will it never invent?
The rewrite reworks the bullets you already have so they match the target job, and asks you to approve each line before it is kept. Every rewritten line is validated against your original resume. If the model produces a number or an achievement your resume does not support, it is reverted rather than shown to you.
It rewrites, it does not invent
The most damaging thing an AI resume tool can do is add a metric you never earned, because you then carry it into an interview. Rewritten lines are checked back against your original resume, and a line containing an unsupported figure is reverted.
This is why a rewrite sometimes returns a bullet close to what you already had. When there is nothing in your history to support a stronger claim, the honest output is a modest one.
You approve every line
Changes are presented one at a time with the original and the proposed version side by side. Nothing is applied until you accept it, and you can accept some and reject others.
Then it is rescored
After you have worked through the changes, the resume is scored again against the same job description, so you can see what the edits actually moved before you send it.
What it will not do
It will not add employers, job titles, dates, degrees, or certifications that are not in your resume. If a posting requires a credential you do not have, that shows up as a gap in the report rather than as new text in your resume.
