3. User Accounts

You must maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and are responsible for all activities under your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate our terms.

4. Privacy and Data Protection

We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your resume data is encrypted and securely stored. We never share your personal information with third parties without consent.

5. Subscription Terms

Paid subscriptions are billed according to your chosen plan. You can cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

While we cannot guarantee specific results, many users who follow our resume optimization recommendations and apply to multiple positions report receiving interview invitations within 30 days. Individual results vary based on qualifications, market conditions, application volume, and other factors beyond our control.

Our service is designed to help optimize your resume for ATS compatibility and improve your chances of passing initial screening. However, we cannot guarantee that you will receive interviews, job offers, or specific employment outcomes. Success in job applications depends on many factors including your qualifications, experience, the job market, and employer needs.

5.2. Refund Policy

We stand behind the quality of our resume analysis service and offer a limited refund policy under specific conditions.

14-Day Service Guarantee:

If you receive your analysis report and believe it failed to provide actionable, specific recommendations for improving your resume, you may contact us within 14 days of your purchase for a refund review. To be eligible, you must demonstrate that the recommendations provided are unrelated to the resume and job description you submitted.

Automatic Refund Circumstances:

To request a refund, contact us at contact@resumeadapter.com within 14 days of your purchase. Include your account email and reason for the request. Refund requests will be reviewed within 5 business days, and approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days.

Our service, including algorithms, design, and content, is protected by intellectual property rights. Users retain rights to their resume content while granting us license to analyze and process it.

7. Service Modifications

We may modify or discontinue services with reasonable notice. Substantial changes to these terms will be communicated to users via email or in-app notifications.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to ResumeAdapter in the 12 months preceding the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based.

While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, truthfulness, and appropriateness of all content before using it in job applications. ResumeAdapter is not liable for any consequences resulting from your use of AI-generated content.

9. User Conduct

Users must not misuse our services, attempt to access restricted areas, or use our platform for any unlawful purpose.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration proceedings.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For users located outside the United States, by using our services you agree that any disputes will be resolved in accordance with Delaware law, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delaware for any disputes arising from these Terms.
