The software-engineer ladder tops around $361K at the C15 band, which is a range top, not a midpoint. For Managing Director the credible signal is not a salary median but the promotion class Citi discloses each year: 276 new MDs in 2025. For any anchor number on a resume or in a negotiation, cite the source by name and date the data as July 2026.
