FAQ
Companies that use Taleo FAQ
The questions candidates surface when they try to confirm whether an employer runs Taleo. Answers are byte-identical to the FAQPage JSON-LD, because AI engines that extract HTML and AI engines that extract JSON-LD should not see different text.
Which employers are verified on Taleo in 2026?
State and local government and large nonprofit healthcare systems are the strongest remaining Taleo concentrations. Employers confirmed on Taleo by loading their live apply URL on 2026-09-03 are UnitedHealth Group, Kaiser Permanente, Texas Health Resources, the State of Ohio, the City of Chicago, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Textron, and HDR. Each routes to a company.taleo.net career section. The list is short on purpose: a name is included only once its own apply URL proves it, rather than copied from a vendor database.
How can I tell if a company uses Taleo?
Open the job, click Apply or Sign In, and read the address bar at that point rather than on the landing page. Many employers white-label Taleo behind their own careers domain, so the taleo.net host often only appears after you click through. A host ending in taleo.net is Taleo. A host ending in oraclecloud.com with hcmUI/CandidateExperience in the path is Oracle Recruiting Cloud, a different product. Other domains map elsewhere: myworkdayjobs.com is Workday, icims.com is iCIMS, successfactors.com is SAP SuccessFactors, and sjobs.brassring.com is IBM or Infor BrassRing.
What is the difference between Taleo and Oracle Recruiting Cloud?
They are two different Oracle products, and the migration path runs from Taleo to Oracle Recruiting Cloud. Taleo Enterprise and Taleo Business Edition serve their career sections on taleo.net hosts. Oracle Recruiting Cloud, also called Oracle Fusion Recruiting, serves candidates from an oraclecloud.com pod with hcmUI/CandidateExperience in the path. This distinction matters because the star-rated AI matching features that many guides describe as Taleo behavior are documented only for Oracle Recruiting Cloud. If your apply link ends in taleo.net, none of that applies to you.
Do federal contractors use Taleo?
Mostly not, and this is one of the most out-of-date beliefs about Taleo. Checking the live apply URLs of major government services firms puts GDIT, Amentum, and Booz Allen on Workday, CACI and Northrop Grumman on Eightfold, Peraton and V2X on iCIMS, ManTech and Maximus on Avature, SAIC on Jobvite, L3Harris and Fluor on SAP SuccessFactors, and Lockheed Martin on BrassRing. Government work is still a Taleo stronghold, but at the state and municipal level rather than among federal contractors.
Does UnitedHealth Group use Taleo?
Yes. UnitedHealth Group runs its candidate-facing careers site on uhg.taleo.net, confirmed on 2026-09-03. It is the one verified Taleo employer on this list that also has a dedicated ResumeAdapter resume hub. Healthcare is genuinely split across Taleo, iCIMS, Workday, and SmartRecruiters, which is why it is the sector where candidates most often guess the wrong ATS. Check the apply URL for each health system separately rather than assuming they match.
Does JPMorgan Chase use Taleo?
No. JPMorgan Chase runs its candidate-facing apply flow on Oracle Recruiting Cloud, not Taleo. Goldman Sachs is on Oracle Recruiting Cloud too. American Express also runs on Oracle Recruiting Cloud, having migrated off Taleo, and its old axp.taleo.net address is deprecated. Wells Fargo moved to Workday. Because Oracle Recruiting Cloud is an Oracle product, secondhand lists routinely file all of these under Taleo, which is wrong in a way that changes what you should expect from the application.
Does Nike use Taleo?
No. Nike recruits on Workday at nike.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com, with Avature on some flows. Nike is one of three employers on this page that third-party ATS databases still list as Taleo customers while their live apply URLs prove otherwise, alongside Elevance Health, which is on Workday, and Marriott International, which is on Oracle Recruiting Cloud. Vendor databases record the contract that was signed, not the system a candidate meets today.
Is Taleo still used in 2026?
Yes, but it is shrinking. Oracle's Taleo Cloud Service global price list dated 1 February 2026 states that all Taleo Enterprise and Taleo Midsize offerings are no longer available to new customers and directs net-new buyers to Fusion Cloud HCM, while existing customers can continue to expand. Oracle has published no end-of-support or sunset date, so any specific shutdown year you see quoted is not from Oracle. In practice, retail and utilities have essentially left, and the employers still running Taleo are concentrated in state and municipal government and large nonprofit healthcare.
