5 Common CV Mistakes That Get You Rejected
1. Using a Canva or Etsy template

2. Two-column layout
ATS systems read content left to right across the full page width. A two-column CV gets read as one scrambled stream of text. Your contact info ends up mixed with your job titles.
3. Missing keywords
ATS ranks you by keyword match. If the skill is not written in your CV, it does not count, even if you have done the work. Use the exact language from the job description.
4. Full street address
Unnecessary. Australian recruiters do not expect it. Suburb and state is the standard.
